About me (English)

Hi! My name’s Eleonora and I am an environmental biologist by training, but I’ve been working in the field of science journalism and translation (editorial and creative, EN>IT) since 2013; you can discover more about my professional path on LinkedIn. After many experiences in newsrooms and creative agencies, experimenting with both printed and online media, today I’m freelancing by choice. I’m flexible, reliable and autonomous, always interested in learning new skills and providing high quality work.

As a journalist I specialize in nature conservation and mental health. As a translator I also have experience in the fields of fashion, tourism and audio-visual content like subtitles. 🎮✨🧝‍♀️ I am currently taking a course in videogame localization with Molok Studios. I want my passion for gaming to evolve into a skill and I’m looking for new collaborations in this field.

✏ Do you need your English content translated into Italian with attention to style, language and cultural relevance? Are you looking for a proofreader to make sure that your copy really sounds natural? Are you a developer, a localization manager or a small indie company looking for a translator to bring your game to the Italian public? Email me at degano.eleonora@gmail.com and we’ll talk about what I can do for you!
